30 weeks
Wow life is crazy!
Here is my tummy at 30 weeks. Its actually not to huge just yet. Also this is a close up of my face, apparently it has not gotten "fat" which is a good sign. Though I am feeling much bigger every day.
This is my belly button, I know that no one likes to see pictures of your bare pregnant tummy, but I just wanted to remember that this far along in the pregnancy, it does not stick out. Its kind of flat and only pops out after a big meal or when I cough.
This is the blessing blanket I am currently making for you. As you can see, crochet is not my strong point but I am trying really hard. The end got away from me and kind of went out of control. Don't worry I took it all our and re did it so it looks much better now.
This is just proof that this chubby chick can still paint her own toes at 30 weeks! You should be impressed. Most women can't this far along. I also don't have much swelling in my feet and legs. Though I do enjoy foot massages, which I NEVER did before I was pregnant.
I had extreme back pain in two of my ribs on the left side for about a month. It was horrible.Nothing really helped it. I could put Icy Hot on it sometimes but that didn't last long and I can't take any really good medicine to help. Thankfully that has gone away.
We moved in with the Lyman Grandparents. Their house will be the place you come home to. This is what your life looks like when it is all put in a 10x10 storage unit. Kind of crazy and moving again sucked. But I guess it will make it much easier when we move again for med school when you are just 6 months old.
Sophie tested out your baby sling for you. Seems to work perfectly. Can't wait to hold you in it. I am getting more and more excited every day to meet you.
This is your crib in the corner of our room. My hospital bag is packed and waiting for go time. Grandma Murray picked out your bedding. Hope you like it. We are still unpacking and organizing the rest of our room and trying to make everything fit. I set up your crib first as a happy reminder that everything is worth it.
The last couple weeks have been a little hard. I now understand why women HATE their third trimester. For starters you are ALWAYS hot, ALWAYS. Like boob sweat while doing nothing hot. It sucks. If I could I would sit in the pool all day. The inlaws don't run the AC at night and even with a fan turned on high and pointing right at me, I sweat to death. I have heat rash and hives in a few awesome places. You are constantly getting bigger every day, which kind of makes it uncomfortable to walk, your head is now between my legs which gives me the awesome pregnancy waddle. I feel you move all day long. Mostly you kick the heck out of my right side and often times right in my ribs. You like to roll around the most just as I'm trying to fall asleep. You respond to your daddy's voice and its cute. If anyone puts their hand on my stomach to try and feel you, you freeze and refuse to move again until they go away. I secretly love it, it makes it more special for just me. I started having braxton hicks and started losing a little bit of my mucus plug. Super gross by the way. Which is WAY to soon to be happening (usually happens around 36 weeks) and caused a bit of alarm. The dr thinks its because I have been doing to much lately and doing stuff I shouldn't. So basically I am on bed rest until you get here and possibly have to get a shot to develop your lungs incase you come early. I find out Monday for sure at the next doctor appt. Thankfully the spotting and contractions didn't last but it was still very scary.
As excited as I am to meet you, I am more than happy to wait a few more weeks to see your smiling face.
Also, I think we have your name.
What do you think of Madison Alleyne?
I'm not sure 100% yet but it seems to be the name that keeps popping up. Your dad really likes it and even though it was never on our original list, I think it might be the one. But again, I don't want to decide till I see you.
Until then, keep growing strong little girl. Mommy loves you.

28 Weeks
Everything is looking great with you and you are getting bigger every day!
My blood pressure is low which is a very good thing at this stage in the pregnancy.
I passed the glucose test. Another prick with a needle. This better prove how much I love you already.
You have a strong heartbeat and its getting stronger every day.
You move around constantly, I wonder how you ever sleep.
These days you mostly hang out on my right side, just below my rib cage. Its where I can feel the most movement. It is still pretty light flutters and small twitches. Kind of hard to explain but it is no where near the painful stories people will tell you. Sometimes it surprises me and makes me jump but that is only because you do it out of no where. You used to have a very set schedule and would start moving around at the same time every day, but my friend Jena came into town and we stayed up WAY to late too many nights in a row and that may have thrown you off a bit. You do not like to preform. Very few people have actually felt you move. Every time anyone puts a hand on my stomach you just freeze and refuse to move. You did the same thing every time I got an ultrasound. Curled up in a little ball and didn't want to do anything. My placenta is also on top so there is a few more inches of "squish" before I can feel you. So my stomach feels pretty soft unless you come to the surface, then I feel this super hard thing and I have no clue what it is, just know its part of you.I don't have a crazy appetite you hear about. In fact, it usually hurts when I eat so I try to limit it to small portions and eat often. I have heartburn constantly. According to the wives tales, that means you will come out with lots of hair. I'm starting to think you are going to have dark hair. I was hopeful for a while that you would come out this little bald and blonde thing since Grandma Murray is a total blonde and your dad was too as a child. Then I think, all of your other Grandparents have dark hair and your mother has a light brown color. I wonder if your hair will be curly or straight? Who will you look like? Will you have my lips? My eye color?
My stomach is getting bigger too. It is now uncomfortable to put on shoes, paint my toes, and shave my legs. I can still do it. I just don't like to. So I bet I am just the most beautiful sight you have ever seen. Barefoot, chubby, naked toes, and hairy legs. So far I have gained 15 pounds and am on track to gain a total of 25-30 depending how these last few weeks go. No stretch marks yet. *fingers crossed*
I am in my third trimester now. I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going by. I have braxton hicks and waves of nausea but nothing too bad. You still don't have a named picked out yet and to be honest, I'm ok with it. I want to see your sweet little face before I can decide. We have a few that we like but nothing set in stone yet. We haven't told ANYONE the options because we really don't want to hear their opinions. Naming a child is hard! I want a name that is beautiful and not to common, but on the same token, I want a traditional name and not a strange name that no one knows how to pronounce or spell.
Oh yeah, and we're moving again. This time we're moving in with Grandma and Grandpa Lyman. It is sure to be an adventure....
