Happy Easter Madison

You have been a little fussy the last couple days and I wasn't sure if it was because we are still recovering from our nasty cold this week or what, but it turns out that today you cut your first tooth!! Congrats little miss. It looks painful and I know we have many more to go, but we are one step closer. Your first tooth was your bottom left (if we were looking at you) I think your other tooth might come through tonight. You have decided that you no longer like solids and would like a bottle for every meal. Last night you stayed up till 12 and today you can hung out around the house and just whimpered. So sad. Other then that, you were a joy through church and we actually got to stay all three hours for once. You took a couple cat naps and didn't get fussy till the end. Then we came home and you opened your Easter basket all by yourself. It was adorable. Holidays are so much more fun with you around. 

It's the little things

When you are falling asleep or eating a bottle you love to play with my hair. You gently twirl your fingers around each piece and run your fingers through it over and over. It's the sweetest thing. You don't ever pull it which is the crazy part.

While we were in California we took Mimi to the doctor because she was super sick. She laid down on the table while we were waiting for he doctor and you stroked her hair. I mean stroked it. So tender. You are such a lover. It makes me happy.

Woohoo

The last 4 night you have pretty much been sleeping through the night. You still wake up several times but fall back asleep pretty quickly so I consider that sleeping through the night. You no longer sleep swaddled and just cuddle a blanket at night like Linus from the peanuts gang. It's adorable. You still sleep in our room which I am imagining you will until our living arrangement changes. At this point I really don't mind anymore.

I have to admit this could not have come at a better time. I think I am catching a horrible cold and could use all the sleep I can get. We have been in California for 3 weeks now and are enjoying the sunny weather. Mimi has been sick the last two weeks so we haven't gotten to spend much time with her but I guess that's life.

You went to the beach with grandma and grandpa dodger for your first time last week. I think you really enjoyed it. We didn't stay terribly long though, just went for lunch.
