Your personality.

As you have grown your personality has really started to come through. It wasn't until Sunday that I really noticed it though. You are the oldest and currently only child, the stigma with that is that you are selfish, quiet, have lots of stranger danger and don't play well with others. You could not be more opposite. You are loud, out going, laid back, friendly and generally happy baby.

We were hanging out in the hallway at church and playing with baby Daphne, who is only 9 days younger then you. She was quiet, thoughtful, and very sensitive. The moment I sat you down next to her you began squeaking and bouncing around from excitement. It was adorable.

When we are out in public you always wave at strangers and smile to anyone that will look at you. Sometimes you giggle and flirt back but lately you have started to get "shy" and lean up against me when strangers give you attention. You are so aware of the world around you. It amazes me how smart you are already. You love to "sing" when you hear music playing You kind of dance by flapping your arms up and down and scooting yourself in a circle. Uncle Jono thinks its the cutest thing ever. I agree.

You have been very snuggly lately. I love it. In the mornings I get you from your crib and bring you in bed with me and you play with my hair and cuddle for about 20 minutes before sitting up and telling me all about your plans for the day. Then I give you a bottle while we continue to snuggle. You also like to cuddle just before bed. I am supposed to be putting you to bed awake but I just miss our quite moments together too much. You go to bed awake for your naps so I really do miss it.

I am excited to see what a handful of a toddler you are going to be. Because I know with this personality you are going to be a wild one. You are my happy little ray of sunshine. I love that about you. Your smile can light up a room and no matter how upset I am, one little giggle and all my cares melt away.

I love you little girl. Thanks for being mine.

Father's Day

You sleep in the strangest positions.
All ready for the Strawberry Days rodeo with Grandpa. Sadly you didn't end up going, but you sure looked cute!

This was a sink bath you took the weekend the water was contaminated and we had to boil ALL water before using it. What a pain!
But you didn't seem to mind.

9 months

Height
Weight
Size 2 diapers
Clothing 6-9 months

Two, maybe three teeth.
You hold perfectly still while I paint your toes now.
You can drink from a straw now.
You don't let me rock you to sleep any more hut you have started taking naps so I guess that's a fair trade.
You love French fries, ice cream and berries. You are a pretty good eater.
The restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings because basically it's a sports bar with 50+ TVs inside and you like to watch tv. You love to scream/yell, I call it " singing".
You are almost crawling but I think you are just a little lazy about it. I think it's going to happen any day now.
You're personality is really starting to shine through and boy are you smart. You figured out that you share a room with us and are always pulling down the blankets so we can see you.
You are very good at finding the tiniest of objects in the carpet and are always showing me strings and pieces of paper.
You say "mamamamamamam" and "blahblahblah" while sticking your tongue out.
You now like to sleep on your tummy since you have mastered the art of rolling over.
You love being outside and going on walks. You look more and more like your dad every day apparently, but I don't think so, I think you are your own beautiful person.
You love to play in my make up bag and sit on the floor taking everything out while I get ready in the morning. It's very cute.
