Two stories

You went through this phase of wanting to snuggle with me when you wake up in the morning. I figured it was from teething and this phase only lasted a couple weeks. I was sad when it ended because we all know how much I love sleep. Well a couple weeks pass and you enter a new phase, this time you wake up several times between 2:30-6:30 am. Not my favorite. Lucky for me you have just cuddled in bed and gone back to sleep. We are going on two hours of cuddling this morning. Which means I got to go back to sleep for two hours. Score!! 

And the second story. Yesterday you were playing around in your walker, eating a chocolate chip cookie, while I was trying to get things done. Suddenly you come over to me and start to fuss and when I look down... You had a blow out diaper. All down your leg and on to the floor. The best part? You are rubbing your feet all through this interesting mess. Shoot me now! This is one of those times you think " wow parenthood is so great". Ugh. Needless to say. It was gross

Officially crawling

Make a smacking noise with mouth

Can stand up in crib or pull yourself up to the couch 

You can crawl up stairs

You point at things 

You are liking adult food more then baby food 

Still taking two naps a day on a good day 

Size 9-12 clothing

Size 2 diapers 

You get into everything so we have to watch you like a hawk 

You can say mama, dada, bam-pa, am-ma, Xbox, k, and lots of other sounds. 

You still sleep in our bedroom because we are still living at grandma and grandpa Lyman's house. So it lookalike we will be sharing a room till you are almost 18 months. Lucky us. 

You have a major sweet tooth. So much so that if you can tell I'm eating a treat you cry until I give you some. 

You are really good at self feeding. 

You don't sit still long enough for me to paint your toes or read a book. 

You love music. 

You love fruit. Cantaloupe is your new favorite.  

4th Of July

 We celebrated with cupcakes and you were in heaven. So much for waiting till your first birthday.
